Despite running out of Signal Red, working on un-primed wood and tearing the nibs of the Molotow markers to shreds the design ended up looking OK. We had a good day, lots of volunteers from Coca-Cola came down to help out and most did a great job. Mick, Jess, Richard, Helen, James, Emma, Amanda, Rebecca and Giustina thanks for chipping in, hope you enjoyed yourselves and thanks also to everyone else who came down to say hello and have a look. Check out the pictures here.
We're going back at the weekend to touch it up and add some more stars and bubbles and probably make some small changes to improve the overall composition.
With help from Blok Collective and some eager volunteers I'll be painting the cover of a bike shelter on the 22nd September between 9am and 5pm. Although not an official event if you're in the neighbourhood feel free to stop by. Its behind the Coca-Cola building on Morley Way, Peterborough.
Several designs were submitted and the employees at Coca-Cola voted on their favourite. This was the winner.
