Still drawing on these cardboard bricks, they're a nice handy size and take Posca ink well. Some of these are for Free Art Friday gigs in Walsall and Cheltenham. Need to get them posted asap and move on to the next project.

This is a shout out for Paper Cloud who was kind enough to send me some supplies for my next art project and a little piece of free art. You can follow Paper Cloud on Twitter @papercloud1
More on the art project later... Where I live we get a lot of JW's knocking on the door. I like their literature, makes for a good canvas. Didn't mean for it to look so evil, it's just how it turned out...
I got the idea from a brilliant article in Colossal. Artist was Myriam Dion. I'm part of a team who help administrate the Free Art Friday page on Facebook. I don't do enough to update the page but chip away at the posts every now and then. I'm pleased with this though, its a new cover picture made up of some of the free art that has been given away recently. Page admins are Free Art Friday veterans Los Dave and My Dog Sighs and more recently Lynn Blasey and Shell Bateman. Here are the pictures that I used...thanks everyone, hope you don't mind me using your photos.
I decided 2014 is going to be all about finishing the multitude of art projects I've started over the years. I've had this sketchbook for about two years now. Here is a quick update on progress.
Part of the brief for art for advent was "where do we find the Christ-child today". This made me think about Jesus as a baby, was he ever vulnerable? What was he like? And if he was born into poverty today would we notice?
This 6 layer stencil is of an orphan, a fatherless child spraypainted on rough reclaimed wood that cost nothing but time and effort to make. You can view it in the flesh at St Johns church in Peterborough or have a read up about it on the St Johns website. This is FAF so check the jump to see how you can take it home for free I cut out lots of cardboard bricks for the Find Me Keep Me art give-away held in Peterborough last year but never got around to drawing on them so they hang around my studio waiting for me to doodle on them. These three were inspired by Born to Die by Lana Del Rey. By the way I know the lyric is "Feet don't fail me now" but I like it this way...
All for sale...mail me if you want one. £18 each (free UK P&P) CREATED WITH BELTON MOLOTOW SPRAYPAINT AND UNI POSCA PAINT PENS THESE PHONE CASES ARE FINISHED WITH SEVERAL COATS OF VARNISH BUT PLEASE REMEMBER THEY ARE HANDPAINTED SO MAY SCUFF EASILY, KORP.
Its taken me ages to do this but im really pleased with how its turned out. 6 layers of A2 stencils.
